Afternoon Tea at Gong within the Shangri La hotel certainly takes afternoon tea to new heights! Three finger sandwiches, a savoury scone served with bacon jam, and a warm quiche went down nicely alongside our drinks. The food was Delicious and all of the different teas we sampled were exceptionaly good and this was all thanks to our amazingly attentive waiter Eglantino who chose them all for us. Housed on the 31st floor of the Shard, it offers its guests playful house cocktails and top-notch modern British cuisine.
