Any contestant(s) deemed under the influence by the tournament director may be disqualified. 15 FISHABLE WATERS: Fishing within 50 feet of an operating gas pump/dock or within 50 feet of a competitors boat, which is first anchored, is prohibited (Trolling motors must be in up position, anchor rope visible, or shallow water anchoring system deployed to be considered anchored). I am aware and agree that by executing this waiver and release, that I am giving up my right to bring legal action or assert a claim against GreenFish Marketing LLC, Wild West Bass Trail, Wild West Bass Youth Series for my negligence. Weather delays on competition days resulting in half of the tournament day being lost (first flight take-off and check-in) may result in cancellation. 49. During practice and competition contestants cannot solicit, receive, or gather any information from anyone other than another contestant in the tournament. NO EXCEPTIONS. REGARDLESS OF WHEN A CONTESTANT ENTERED THE EVENT, THEY MUST HAVE ADHERED TO THE OFF-LIMITS PERIOD AND THE NO INFORMATION RULE. DISQUALIFICATION SUSPENSION: Any disqualification suspension from or other disciplinary action regarding any tournament or fishing organization shall be grounds for rejecting any application for participation in a WWBT tournament and/or disqualification from a WWBT tournament after circumstances are reviewed by the Tournament Director. All anglers who elect to participate in Wild West Bass Youth Series -sanctioned tournaments will be required to execute a Participation Agreement containing the rules and regulations, code of conduct, and tournament series specific content such as wrapped boat and uniform guidelines. The contestant shall make himself/herself available at the location selected by the Tournament Director and shall cooperate in all respects with such examination. 45. 5 Disqualification from future WWBT events, which may be a specific number of events, a specific period of time, or lifetime disqualification. Unless otherwise specified, all official times are specific to local host community. Contestants are permitted to transmit by radio or telephone only in the event of an emergency. When partners check out at the beginning of the day, they must stay together and within sight of each other and their catch throughout the day except in case of emergency or bathroom break. B. From the morning launch through check-in all WWBT contestants must have locations services for the WWBT APP turned on. 44. TACKLE AND EQUIPMENT: Only artificial lures and biodegradable artificial lures may be used. Various states require withholding tax on merchandise be paid upon the awarding of certificates and contestants awarded merchandise certificates in these various states are responsible for remitting this tax to WWBT. SCORING: Tournament standings and final winners shall be determined by the total weight of each contestants catch during the competition days of the tournament. A balance of field, one point each until end of field or points run out. Wild West Bass Youth Series reserves the right to revoke these exceptions, and the angler must remove the tournament-related content if Wild West Bass Youth Series in its discretion believes the content is inappropriate or in any way violates other Wild West Bass Youth Series rules. Memberships are required to participate in the WWBYS West Coast Championship. TIES: In case of ties for the Pro and Co-Angler divisions the tiebreaker will be determined by the (1) largest single days weight, (2) if the tie is not broken, largest number of legal fish weighed during competition, (3) if the tie is not broken, the next tiebreaker will be the largest number of legal live fish weighed during competition, (4) if the tie is not broken, the next tiebreaker will be the AOY standings. THERE SHALL BE NO EXCEPTIONS. Staggered weigh-in times may be utilized to minimize gathering size. No at lake registrations: BLAST OFF: Diamond Valley Marina Safe Light . RULE OF TIMEKEEPING the official time is kept by the Tournament Director at all times once open practice has begun. Permission is hereby granted to the attending physician to proceed with any medical or minor surgical treatment, x-ray examination, and immunizations for the named angler. I also recognize that WILD WEST BASS YOUTH SERIES cannot guarantee anglers will always stay at least six (6) feet apart due to the inherent nature of angling and related educational events. In such a case, both contestants shall be disqualified from this tournament and from all future tournaments conducted by WWBT. PUBLIC CONDUCT, SPORTSMANSHIP, AND COMPETITIVE INTEGRITY: Contestants in WWBT tournaments are expected to follow high standards of sportsmanship, courtesy, safety, and conservation. 29. Member teams will pay a total of $75 per event. THE ELECTRONIC SIGNATURE WILL BE EQUALLY AS BINDING AS AN ORIGINAL MANUAL PAPER SIGNATURE. Operational navigation lights must be illuminated from takeoff to the first stop of each day. Contestants must leave from and return to official checkpoints by boat. 4) Cloth face coverings are encouraged for anglers, boat captains, and spectatorsbut not requiredunless mandated by state/local government. No contestants will be allowed on Tournament waters after registration until the first day of competition.
